| How to pee pad train? Ok.. I'm at my wit's end with this my new little girl Leah! When I first got her, she was doing well with peeing on the pad... Leah would watch Bridgette (my 2 year old Yorkie... she was 8 months old when I got her, and already pee pad trained) and do what she did. Whenever Leah would go on the pad, I'd praise and praise and praise her. Now, I don't know what's gotten in to her! She pees and poops where ever she pleases, and I just don't know what to do. I tell her NO! but she just doesn't seem to get the point that she's done wrong. I've found myself getting depressed over this, plus the fact that all Leah and Bridgette do is fight. I just don't know what to do... Please, do you have any suggestions or advice for me? I feel a breakdown coming on soon!

| I trained mine to use pads AND go outside, so if no one was home then there would hopefully be no accidents. Limiting their space and putting them on the pad and watching them constantly would be my best advice. Since I don't use pee pads as the main place to go, but outside, I'm not the best person to ask, however, if no one can make it to the door she does use the pad. Perhaps someone else can help you more, but those three things are the key.

| I dont know if this would be of any help to you, but I find it helping me out a bit in pee pad training. I put Wookie in a crate at night and during the day while I'm gone. It isn't the really small ones, but its also not big enough for him to poo/pee in it comfortable. So it has forced him to hold it. And as soon as i take him out, I put him right away on the pee pad and praise him. But you can't let them roam around at all. Not even for 20 seconds, or they will pee right away. It has defiantly been a challenge for me, so I understand where you are coming from. Good Luck! |

| Save your Health send me Leach. Really Minnie was doing well and now going every where she wants to also does it more when Daddy is home he lets her out more and doesn't watch her. It will pass limit her space and most important don't let it bother you so much they grow up Mom. Good luck. Carol & Minnie |

| I have been having similiar problems with Deb. She had been doing so well on her pee pad and then the last few days, its as if she forgot what the pee pad was for!!! I had been letting her stay in her penned area instead of her kennel both during the day and at night since she was pooping in her kennel at night but being so good about the pee pad both times. Tonight I am going back to the crate at night and am considering it during the day too until we have this pee pad thing more under control.....I am trying not to get frustrated, but it is hard Any suggestions welcome!!
