| potty problems hi everyone, I'm having some troubles potty training my new puppy Apple. He is 2 mo old and copying his brother Chuck, who is %100 pee pad trained. The problem is he sometimes pees right next to pads, not on them. And ones in a while he pees on the carpet even though the pads are right there I never had this problem with Chuck, I don't know what to do about it... It has been only 3 weeks since he arrived and I know it's still early but I just wanted to get some opinions... I'm considering littler box trainig and putting the pads inside the box but I don't wanna confuse Chuck Thank you

| I have had the same problem with Mimi. I watched her everytime she went to use the pads and if she did it outside and not on the pad I would say no! Everytime she did go one the pad in the middle I gave her a treat and praised her. She eventually got the idea. How about you put like something over the carpet around there so she does not ruin the carpet. Also make sure you clean the spot where she pees on the carpet for good because she will go again if she smells it on there. I used the potty training aid spray and sprayed some on the pads where i want her to pee and she got it. =D
