| Water Bowl = Toilet? My little Sylar..every once in a while decides to leave me a surprise while I'm away at work. When I come home I notice his water bowl is filled with yellow liquid. I don't remember giving him lemonade? His water bowl and food bowl sits on a connected wire holder which brings it up an inch or two and I place it on the other end of his crate. I have no idea how he stretches his little body and pees in the water bowl, all the time no matter if I were to switch it from left to right with the food. My puppy still pees in a stretched out position (he's 8 months old). Has anyone else ever experienced this? I find it so strange.. |

Thor's Human Donating Member | Ha! I've heard of dogs drinking out of the toilet, but never peeing in their bowl. I wonder if this is his method of keeping his crate clean. His crate should not be big enough for him to pee in one end and sleep in the other. Is your crate wire mesh? If so, maybe you can place the water bowl outside so he can reach it with his tongue, but not other parts of his body.
