| Coins/pennies in a can! It has helped out a lot for me & Jackson. Just put some coins in an empty soda can and whenever he barks, shake it and say "quiet!"

| What a cool idea! I will try this with my Shih Tzu. I'm afraid he will teach the new puppy to be barker like he is!

| This reminds me of my pervious puppy. I tried coins in a can, and it worked as long as you kept shaking the can. As soon as you stopped the barking continued. It was a losing battle! |

| When you shake the can you also need to say no bark. They need to get used to that command so eventually all youll need to do is give the command and them stop

| When dogs start barking they get into a state .... and once they are into it it's hard to break them out of a barking jag What you need to do is do something that gets their full attention Yell, Eh! or No! or Clap your hands shake a can with coins in it or use a water pistol Once they stop barking you need to say """""""""""""""""""""""""""Good Boy or Good Girl But never start scolding them .... they will see this as you just joining in with the racket Its once No Bark.... and then praise
