| Early Morning Waking - Sound Machine...Need Input please So, Mabel is 4 months old. Last week she started early morning crate barking...something she had not done month before. Today (Saturday) since my husband doesn't have to get up at 4:30am for work, we thoughts we'd see if maybe she was hearing him or not... She was quiet in cage until 6:10am - everyone in the house is still sleeping! SOOO - I'm assuming, maybe she's hearing him get ready/dressed/showered etc. She's in a crate in an extra bedroom but even with the door closed, walls & floors are thin and she's going to hear him walking around etc. I was wondering if it was worth getting one of those 'sound machines' -often used to soothe baby's sleep - just didn't know if it was worth it due to the amazing 'ears' of a dog. Thoughts? Cindi |

| well you might want to consdier putting her in your room- somewhere she can see you- dogs are pack animals and used to sleeping in a pack- so when your husband goes to get up for work- she can look at you and see you are still sleeping and get the picture. |
