| why does he do this? Sometimes when we go outside to potty or for walks or even inside the house..he will run fast from one place to another. Inside the house it is ok b/c he is not on the leash. I am worry about when we are outside. He would pull so hard, i am afraid of trachea collapse or his breaking his neck. He would run so fast and pull really hard. I just order a puppia harness for him. Does your yorkie do this too? Is he being playful and happy? does he want to play? |

| Hi, If he is still a young puppy, then he is just learning about the leash etc. I would Not ever use a regular collar as they can cause trachea problems. You were smart to order a harness for him so you will have more control when he is on it. The step in ones are even better because they don't touch the throat at all. I'm not familiare witht the one you ordered but I'm sure it will work fine. I have 2 puppies that are 14 1/2 weeks and they run around here like crazy dogs chasing each other and even sliding in the wood floors, such clowns. Try not to worry I think he is just being full of himself and wanting to run and play.. Good Luck. Sharon |

| Violet does that, too. She runs from the front door to the living room and back again, several times, at top speed. I think it's hilarious. She also loves to slide on the wood floors. She also runs like that and growls right before she poos sometimes. Sometimes she wimpers, too. It's funny!
