| Transitioning from pee pads Hello!! So Lucas is now doing very well with the pee-pads. We haven't really had another option because we got him in December and it is so cold here that taking him out when he's a baby just wouldn't work. So we have been using the pads, and he has been great on them but I will need to transition him from pee-pads to going outside. Since spring is coming and he is 5 months old now, I feel like we should be doing this soon. As of now we have 4 pee pads around our main level of the house (one living room, one back hallway, one in his "room", and one by the baby gate). How can I get him to start going outside? When we have tried taking him out or had him on walks, we doesn't go, and as soon as we get home or back inside, he finds his mat and goes. He has peed outside twice and we practically had a parade, but I'm not sure how to get him to consistently go without standing outside for hours at a time. Any sort of advice is welcome.

| I remember going to the outhouse at Grandma's in the winter....you really had to have the urge or it just didn't work. He'll probably transition pretty quickly as soon as the weather warms up. |
