| My baby gets closer to me after I yell at him My yorkie is very playful, he likes to bite anything. One time I was mad and yelling at him out loud and I notice he knew that I was mad. After I stop yelling at him, he came closer to me and jump right on my lap and sit on my lap calmly. It happens several times already. Anyone knows what happen here? Did I do something wrong. He is too much of a playful dog. He bites my fingers, my socks, books, toilet paper..etc. He is still puppy, 7 months. Anyone know why he does that? Did I do wrong thing? |

| I dont know. It may have made him nervous when you raised your voice to him. I sometimes do that to mine if they are barking and they will stop

YT Graphic Artist Donating Member | Sounds like he is being submissive to you. I have one that always runs and gives me kisses after I scold him -- it's like he comes to me to say "I'm sorry Mommy". It could be for the silliest thing like I tell him to be quiet if he's barking too much - and he'll come running over jump on my lap and kiss me. So cute. You can't stay mad long - even when they are destroying things. They just look at you so cute.

| I know it's cute. It just cool me down right away when he jumps on my lap and say "sorry daddy". So I pet him once he was being submissive. Next time, I wont try not to let him be on my lap after I scold him. Just wondering, what he would do. |

| When I yell at Buddy and he knows I'm upset he will immediately come to me and jump on my leg to be picked up and give me kisses. I truly believe he is telling me he's sorry for upsetting me. It never fails. They understand everything. You can't help but to squeese them and tell them it's ok, it's mommy fault anyhow |

| I think they are very sensitive to our feelings. If I am brushing Teddy's hair , or doing anything for him, I get a whole bunch of kisses. I think it's to reinforce that I don't hit any snags and hurt him. Tootsie on the other hand, will sulk if I yell at her. It is really funny, she will move down to the end of the couch and turn her back on me. And that is where she will stay until she is ready to forgive me. Each one has their own little ways. |

| I have never yelled at Pao but I am curious of how he would respond . I imagine he would probably just stare at me and his mind says, "Mommy, have you gone nuts?" lols.
