| How much should an eight week old puppy eat at day? I was just wondering how much I should be feediny eight week old yorkie!? |

| Congratulations on your new puppy!! And welcome to yorkietalk, too!! I think it is recommended to leave food down all the time for puppy's. They need to have access to food...then, as they get older, feed by age/weight. The food package should give you some guide lines to use

| You can leave the food down all the time But I've found that sets up finicky eating later on and Yorkies are prone to this from the start you can also feed them 3 times a day ...and they will eat their fill within an hour

| I agree Just dont be surprised if the puppy only eats when you are there or if they bring the food into the room you are in to eat it They will eat when they are hunger and stop when they are full I would just let the puppy have access all day to food and fresh water |
