| Help!! Now Lilly is eating POOP!!! Lilly is 4 months old. We have another dog, Tico, who is 1 year and a half. We have pee pad trained our dog. When I was leaving out the door Tico was taking a poop. When I got back home, there was a brown smudge on the pad, but the poop was gone. An hour later Lilly the 4 month old was puking, and sure enough, it was all you know what. Why is she doing this, and how can I stop her? |

| I give Olivia a chunk of pineapple with each of her 2 meals a day; she was a "secret poop eater" so I never actually SAW her eat it but I know she did. Since adding the pineapple I don't think she is eating it anymore. With the ice and snow storm we had this week, we have had a couple of accidents in the house - and I found her tootsie rolls, undisturbed! So pineapple seems to be doing the trick for us.

The pineapple will change the taste of the food so that is why you feed them it. Good is good and will not harm them so give a few pieces a couple of times a day. If you still have a poop eater give a piece or two more. It's not a forever thing (feeding pineapple) you just want them to think it tastes bad so they stop. Once they stop after a while you can cut back or stop. *I have to agree that it is really gross!

| Pumpkin, canned, plain I add a little bit of plain canned pumpkin to my yorkie's food each day and she has stopped eating her stools completely. She will go up to it and smell it and then walk away. Hooray, I say. Barbara, guaardian of Mau'i Quote:

| OK..now I am curious. Does the pineapple taste good going in, but awful after it comes out? Is that the deal? I have never heard of this, but I have one of *them* and have to follow him all over the yard to prevent him from following behind another...disgusting. |

| I just don't get it. I caught Bella eating hers, and scolded her. I don't think that she's tried it again. Ugh, I had to go brush her teeth, and give her breath mints. Nasty girl!!!

YT 1000 Club Member | Little Poopers!! LOLOLOL....sorry all..but reading these are just too funny!! KiKi was a poop eater too for the longest time....she would pick up a piece and carry it to her blanket to chew on it like it was her favorite bone! Thankfully she grew out of this habit! Good luck to you with this...I know it's frustrating!

| I also am trying the pineapple thing. Someone pointed out grains...I have been using cherrios for training purposes. Will stop that one! Katy is 13 weeks and so far does not bark. We have a very quiet house with just my husband and me and we live in an adult community so there isn't a lot of noise, etc. I must cure the poop thing as it totally grossing us out!

| Yes, it does take good going in but coming out the other end it changes to yuck! Bogey was never a poop eater but just loves pineapple. GF you should have just run this one past me and I could have solved your issue a long time ago
