| potty training update I am so happy today. Charlie finally let me know that he has to go potty. I was in the kitchen. He was in the living room, I gave him his kong toy with his food inside to keep him busy while i cook. Well i felt this little tap on my foot. I look down and it was him. After tapping my foot, he ran straight for the door and sat down. I took him outside and he ran straight to his spot and pee. Wow. He has a little pee accident in the house before that b/c his dad didn't take him out fast enough. My mom-in-law also took him outside for a walk without a leash..he ran off on her and she went searching for him. she found him in his potty spot..he ran off to it and poop on his own. HE is learning. Yay! I can't wait until this crate training is over and I can have him run around the house. I can't wait to play with him without always worrying that he might pee or poop in the house. Once he is potty train, I can also start taking him out to visit people. |

| My puppy's name is charlie too! and it seems like they are making about the same progress. he hasn't learned to tap my foot but he will go by the door and sit down. but one of our problems is that he will go by the door because he wants go to outside and bark at people! |

| oh no! I counted my blessings too soon. Charlie is peeing in the house again. I don't know. I am going to start crate training again. Gosh, when is he going to be 100% potty train. I can't wait. He is also getting aggressive and will not listen to anyone. If he sees the door open, he will run outside super fast and run around the place. I am afraid he will get hit by a car. I can't control him. Anyways, he was good about going outside to pee and poo at the same time. Now, he will pee and save his poop for later..or poop and save peep for later...He won't do them together like he always does. After he pee, he will start sniffing around and eating things...and run around..i tried reminding him he still needs to poop, he will run away from the spot and start sniffing/eating things again. I will take him inside to re-crate him. Once inside, he will run around the house and do all these crazy things. when i try to get him to go inside his crate until he needs to go poop, he will run away from me. I used to chase him but have stop b/c i don't want him to think i am playing with him. I don't know what to do with this boy anymore. He is so wild and won't listen. he needs obedience training. I was watching victoria stillwell and thought to myself "hey i need you!" charlie is driving me crazy. |

| Is it possible you could be feeding and giving water too often/ Or feeding and giving water at random times? they need a consistant schedule so you can learn when they need to go potty. Also make sure you never let them out unleashed until they are COMPLETELY trained to come to you. They can dart around sooo fast that you would be helpless if they go in front of a car. Victoria Stilwell is awesome and so is Cesar Millan aka the Dog Whisperer. Good luck with the training and please keep us updated on your progress. Blessings to you
