| What size of xpen? We are looking at getting Krissy a xpen to put her when we are at work. It will only be 2x a week for about 7 hours. She was in half of my boys bathroom but that is no longer working. SHe has scratched the sheetrock, chewed a dresser knob, and the baseboards and that is in just 2 days. My husband bought one but it doesn't really look big enough for the pee pad (which I know will be shredded) food/water and bed. The one he got is 8 panels that are 18 in wide. What size is a good size? |

| You can get two and put them together to make it bigger. We got a different type pen but it's only two feet high and Chloe can now jump over it , so we are looking to get two and put them together. As for the pee pad we bought a solid holder and it really helped with that issue

| Our expen is 8 panels - each 18" wide. It worked fine while Bailey was young - and in fact, I recommend it. If you double it right now - it might be too big and your baby may not learn to hold pee all day. Once your baby learns to hold it (which was 8 mos for my Bailey) - then I doubled it for her. I know that some yorkies can jump - but Bailey has never tried that - ours is 24" tall. At first, I placed a piece of vinyl under it to save the floors (along with a pee pad in a litter box, water, rug/blanket and few toys) - now that Bailey is older - we have a piece of carpet under it for comfort. Good luck!

| My xpen is also 8 panels 18" wide. It works just fine. I have it into a half octagon shape with a flat side of 3 panels against the wall. good luck! |

| We put them together......... I also prefer the soft-sided ones to the wire ones. We have both, but I think if being left alone, the soft-sided ones would be safest.
