| Man this thread is really screwed up as far as the order of postings. Yes it is possible to train outside and to peepads. Both of mine do both. When I wanted to train them to the peepad I had to confine them with the peepad untill they got used to that is where i wanted them to go

| Weather issues My Yorkie won't walk in the rain so that means he won't do his business outside. Has any one else had issues with this? Thanks! |

| I guess he just needs some encouragement. I took him out during my lunch break and it just took him a little longer than usual since it was wet out and sprinkling. I heard it will snow tomorrow. I wonder how he will fair..especially during thunderstorms and such.. Oh well, it's a learning process.. |

| I had orginally trained Pepe on the pads and then moved the pad outside....he know will do either. It has come in handy because it was in the low 20's the last few days and he would feel the wind when I opened the door and hide under the bed.....lol So these last few days I put down pads and he used them

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | Yes, my boy does the same thing and it drives me crazy. He hates the rain, but I have to make him go. He knows the word potty and when I tell him to go he will, but he will try to run back in quickly when I know he has not finished his business. So I have to walk out into the rain to get him to stay there. But I guess its work it, cause I love him so much! |

| Thank Gawwwwd for pee pads! I started both puppies with them, but also take them outside frequently so they use both. It is POURING rain in Maui today, and they can just stay inside and use pads all day. Even my 13 yr. old Schnauzer has started using the pads occasionally for an emergency, such as today.

| I wish I could train Bailey to use the pads. He thinks they're toys, grabs them and runs. Come to think of it, he's always running with something but we love it. I can't keep the skirt under the Chrismas tree.

| Biggie hates to go outside in the rain. I have to encourage him to go out for a minute before he heads out there. And on the rare occassion he refuses to go..I pick him up and take him out. It's tough..just keep trying..he'll get it eventually. |

| Nope Olivia won't go out in the rain either! I've tried to get her to use pee pads (previous owners said she used them all the time) but it just lays there for days, unused, no matter how many times I put her on it. So I take her out in the rain, put on my hooded jacket and WAIT and WAIT and WAIT til she finally gives in! She has improved just a tiny bit over the past 2 months...so maybe spring she figure out that she won't melt....
