| Nibbling at socks & pants... My Rocky is obsessed with nibbling my sweat pants....I don't know what it is about them that drive him insane...it's mostly when I wear those that drive him crazy.....sometimes my socks, too.....I have heard that Yorkies are nibblers, but is it normal for him to constantly want to try to attack my pants?

| Ok, glad to hear that! I don't know if I am supposed to tell him to stop it or just to enjoy it & go ahead....he has a very strong grip, but nothing too crazy, he is only a puppy. I call him my 2lb punk! LOL

| after awhile, i couldnt take it anymore,, i was almost falling on top of her. she would grab the toe and pull it as i was walking...it sounds funny, was funny, but not good.. eventually i made her her own sock.. took a couple of old socks, made them into a ball and used it as a toy with her, she pulled and tugged on that instead.. or the next time he does that. tell him. wheres your toy or ball and distract him from your socks... its ok,, he will stop trust me

| Be careful with socks Dog owners need to be very careful with socks, as they are the #1 thing most often surgically removed from a dog's stomach. You wouldn't think a dog could swallow an entire sock, but they can. I had a German Shepherd when I was a teenager. One time she ate an entire belt. It came out perfectly intact in her stool. I have no idea how she was able to swallow the whole thing without choking and without me noticing. |

| That's Funny I found out the hard way I was preparing dinner the other day I was wearing socks at the time and Mike one of my puppies started nibbling on my toes thru the sock Normally he knows that I will not tolerate him biting me But he didn't think I was inside the sock ... I was just some new and soft chew toy OWW! Needless to say I watch where they are when I'm in socks now |
