Training Question I have a female yorkie, she is about 4 lbs. We have been trying to housebreak her and she will go potty on her pads but when she has to poop she will not go on the pad, unless someone is home and watching her. Does anyone have any ideas on how to break her from this?

They seem to be like children - they want to poop in private I suggest confinding her to a small space with poop pads inside. She will either hold it forever (or a really long time ) or she will poop. If she starts to poop off the pad, put her on the pad, say your 'potty words' and praise/treat her when she goes.

Do you have her confined to a small area where she can see the pad when you are not at home?
