| Disposable diapers For those of you who have used disposable diapers on your little ones...have you ever noticed that they had trouble walking with the diapers on. I started using the disposables on my 6year old and she looks like she is just learning how to walk in shoes...with one leg shooting outward. I don't think it is possible for a diaper to be so restricting to interfere with walking....????? anyone thanks Tina

| Kaba does that as well. They can walk fine its just like having a massive wedgie while they do. Kaba plays it up a lot so I will take it off but once she gets used to it she does great. The first time I put it on her, she was trying to walk with just her front paws only! It was so hilarious, I wish I would have gotten video of it!

| does she walk out of them also...thanks for the info....she must be adorable. GiGi walks out of them very often....are the non-disposable type more comfortable for them and stay on better ? tina

| I haven't tried the non-disposable kind but I'm definitely thinking about it next time around. It actually might be better because you could probably get someone on this site to make some custom made ones that would be made just for them! She has gotten out of them a few times but I think its only because she is so skinny! I have to put them as tight as they go and still they are a little big.

| How many lbs is she...GiGi is 6 1/4 lbs. and I have the size xsmall goes 4-8lbs. she just walks right out of them. But I am only going to "inforce" that she wear them when she is on my bed or on our living room upholstered chair (with me and Pucci). The rest of the time she or they are in the kitchen on their beds and it is easier to wash their beds than all of my bedding. Even one little spot stinks to high heaven BTW I have seen some really adorable panties adv on this site...wanted to see if the diaper thing is a good idea before I invested in the non-disposibles. | diaper's I use x-small on my Yorkie,I find them ok but,my dog is pretty small he's only 2lbs.and he's a year old sept 25/ The problem with him is he's too big and it stick's out of the diaper so he still can pee.so I bought this jean thing that goes over the diaper and that work's,I could probably just wear that, instead of both.I don't know why he pee's at night and he hides from me in the am,he know's he's bad but,he still continue's to pee in the house,he's been trained outside and in the house. but,he still will do it in the house,he hides for hour's if I let him cause he know's he's in trouble ,so I just don't know what to do with him-it's embarassing when I go to my mom's cause I have to keep the diaper on all the time-any idea's????I'm tired of cleaning up pee and wasting my money on diaper's- |

It is best for them to be trained to go on the paper first then outdoors...and some will be able to do both. GiGi goes both places but I set up the xpen with weewee pads and she will go there but she also like to go out doors cause Pucci will only go out doors and she wants to go out with us. If they don't just pick up on going both places naturally you will just keep confusing him and he will never know what he is supposed to do...too confusing for him. Hope all works out BTW I think some people just use belly bands on the male Yorkies Tina

| When Buddy needed diapers, i used Simple Solutions washable diaper and used human panty liners to help. It the combination worked well and it was a lot cheaper than the disposable.
