| Do you think this is bad?? I've read so many places people suggesting to use a spraybottle with water in it to stop my pooch from barking. She is soo bad when someone comes to the door or when people are walking by. Ive been doing it for about a week..now she just has to see the spraybottle and she starts to stop haha! I never spray it in her face (that was always the suggestion) i just spray her body or paws...what do you guys think? |

| I've been using it with my little "barkers" and it's working well to. I even take it with me outside, since they like to bark at people walking by. I have a few of them scattered throughout the house so there is one handy at all times. I used to have to search for one when they started barking and by the time I found it they stopped!!!

| Baxter has a loud high pitched annoying bark. I used the spray bottle to stop his barking at certain times. He finally learned after about a week, and I haven't had to pick it up again.

| We used it. But basically don't have to use it as they know when we say no bark they associate the spray bottle with that word. It ususally works just to say it. If you don't like the spray bottle you can use the metal can with nails or coins and rattle. But if its working with the spray bottle I sure wouldn't want to change.

| Sounds like it's working for you! I've never used it though. Just be careful not to get it in the eyes.

So if they stop cause of the spray from the sky.... tell then nice quite and pass around the treats. so you do the stop action and then teach then what you want instead. if at any point you see them freeze at the sound of the spray you got fear developing you need to look at some way else to teach quite. | The spray bottle works for us. Soon, you dont even have to spray them, just sit it on the counter and show it to them.

| I did it with my little Humphrey but it got old quickly, the little furbaby LOVES IT....So I'm frustrated but still chuckle at the thought of him sitting and jumping up and down in excitement whenever I grabbed the bottle... |

| I use a spray bottle but I use the word no bark at the same time that way eventually all you have to do is say no bark.
