| Help! 8-year-old going in middle of night! Hi. I'm new. This is a great site. Anyway, my 8-year-old, Sammy, has started peeing in his crate during the night. This has been on-and-off again for the past couple of weeks. He's never done this before. What's happened!?!? What should I do? Thanks! |

| I agree with lily. If he hadn't done it before until now he might have some sort or urinary or other infection. Best to have the vet check it out. |

| It may also just be that he had water before bedtime or he is regressing in his habits as some of our pups do. It's not an immediate call to action to the vet. If his urine smells normal, I'm sure he's fine,.

| He was scheduled for the vet anyway. The vet said he was fine. It may be that he's getting older. No fever or anything! I guess he just can't hold it as long. |
