| Help! My 5 month old is pooping in his crate. We have shrunk the size of the crate so that there is just enough room for him to stand up, turn around and lie down. The vet suggested taking out the blankie so he is on just the metal sheet. He is taken out at 6:30, 9:00, 1:30, 5:30, and off an on til 12;30 a.m. He does tinkle outside (he's never tinked in the crate). He poops in the crate even after just returning from outside, during the night and between 9 and 1:30. It seems to be getting worse. He backs up to the edge so that he can avoid sitting in the poop. We clean the sheet off and do not use amonia. Any ideas of what is going on? |
