| Training My yorkie is currently a yr old. We live on the 9th floor so we been using puppy pads. I will be c moving into a townhome and was wondering what are the best way to train her to start going outside? Also, she is doing something weird by going into the rooms and pooping on the beds. I'm not sure if she likes how the sheets/comforter feel or what. but does anyone know why she may be doing this, and how to get her to stop? |

| I think most people will say start putting the pee pads near the door you want her to go out, and eventually move the pads outside until she gets to know where you really want her to go, and then take away the pee pads. It will take time, but eventually she'll get it.

| Her routine may be being disrupted as to why she is pooping. As for training to go outside, Hot Rod just did it. We have him on pads and going outside. Just remember to give treats when she does her business outside. Eventually remove the pad slowly. I would probably take her out first thing in a.m. and then watch for signs of her wanting to go and take her out at those times. If you know her schedule, take her out at those times. Good luck.
