| Peeing in our bed, make it stop? My babies Ginger (9 mos) and Fred (11 mos) have been sleeping in the bed with us since they came home. A couple of accidents here and there, nothing major. Always our fault. Now, we've added the step-dog, Buster (3 years) and everyone has lost their mind. Ginger is the main culprit. She's the tiniest, obvoiusly the only female, and far from alpha in this pack. I know the SURE solution is to crate them at night. I really don't want to do that to any of us. We enjoy sleeping with our Yorkshire Terrorists and they like being in the big bed. I know that I can't be the only one who has had this problem, any ideas? Oh, I'm brand new to the forum. Found you today when I was taking a break from washing the sheets and comfortor for the 2nd time this week. Thanks! |

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | If water is always available you may want to put it up after 6 PM in the evening and make sure you take them to potty right before bedtime. I did that for training only and I have 4 of 7 sleeping with me and no problems.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I have a 11 year old pom who was just put on water pills (diurectics) and she has wet my bed twice in 2 days and she is 10 lbs and when she goes she goes. I do not knwo what to do either as she sleeps with me and the other 3 yorkies and she is the only one who never learned to go up and down the ramp and can't jump off or on the bed. She has been waking me up every 1 1 l2 hours to go out on top of several accidents. The one thing I did last night is put washable pee pads all on the sode of the bed she sleeps on and cut her water pills back a bit. Maybe you can try putting something like that down. Also when CAli wet my bed awhile ago it was so out of character for her I took her to the vet and she had a kidney infection. Good luck
