| Regression?? Ok, Parker has been crate trained, we set up his crate against the doggie door and he could come and go outside to his pen. This has worked great since when he was in the house we had moved the crate out of the way and he would run outside and do his business. Then all of a sudden last week he would go in the house, it started on me, it was storming and i put him on my lap. He went pee all over me on the couch, I thought he was starting to mark (he is being neutered on the 12th) then the next day my boyfriend had him in the house with him, first thing he does is starts to pee. We have had 2 other situations of this, we have only brought him out of his crate and pen area to play now in the yard. It has been a very frustrating week. We had a great two weeks of him letting himself out and now he has regressed it is almost defiant. HELP!! |

| I am having a similar trouble with my little boy, he is 5 months now, he was doing really well going out for all his business (he rings a bell and I let him out) but it was the rain that put him off too. We've had a few storms here and he really doesn't like getting his feet wet! Now he has just gone back to peeing in the house (not on me so I don't think it's marking, just by the door or in the corner of the room) I have tried a rattle bottle and squirting him with a water pistol when I catch him at it but neither seems to bother him enough to stop peeing, I have also tried giving him some 'time out' when I see him doing it (no point if I find the accident later as he wouldn't associate it) he looks forlorn but I don't know if he is connecting that with the peeing in the house The only advice I have been given is to go back to square one, taking him out every hour and waiting for him to go, it just seems a real shame because he obviously knows how to do it and just refuses or maybe is a bit confused, I'm also trying to make outside a bit more appealing to him by throwing out treats for him to hoover up. If anyone has any more suggestions I'd love to hear them. Thanks, Lisa and Rufus |

Donating YT Addict | It is so strange but it seems like so many of us here had that problem right around 5 months so don't feel bad. Ozzy did the same, he was 95% trained until 4 1/2-5 months then forgot he had to pee on the pad. We went back to square 1..watching him like a hawk..taking him to the pad every 3 hours..and he finally is getting it agin at 6 1/2 months. It's pretty normal it seems, so just hang in there! He seemed to improve after we neutered him.
