| Nipping and Biting [FONT=Arial]Trixie is 4 months and very well behaved. The only challenge I have is she nips and she bites when she gets excited. I have tried a couple of different things... yelling ouch and not giving her attention, gently keeping her mouth shut for a couple of seconds and giving her a chewy toy right away. It doesn't seem to be working yet. Any suggestions? |

| Try Bitterapple spray. There are several way to use it. You can put it on your hand and let her nip and bite it so she would taste it(it leaves a bitter taste in her mouth) or you can squirt or rub some in her mouth when she nips and bites. Another thing you may want to stray is the water bottle. Just put water in a spray bottle. If she starts to nip say "No" and squirt water in her face. |

| Cheap solution is to go to a 99 cent store pick up a stick clear antiperspirant and rub all over your hands or feet, wherever the pup is biting. I can tell you after one or two tries he will stop totally. Also works on wood, furniture, rugs, whatever you do not want the pup to chew. Stopped my two from chewing totally. One taste and they don't go anywhere near the stuff. |

| I was wondering that also, mine has been getting mad when left home and bites the wood on my door! So this sounds like a good idea if she won't get sick from it!
