| Mischa is afraid.. Mischa is afraid of being outside.. I tried taking him for a walk the other day with my parents, and he just layed flat out on the ground in the middle of the street and wouldn't move.. So for the whole walk I carried him.. He loves going for car rides and being in the porch while Riddick is out side doing his doggy duty.. Is there any tricks to get Mischa loving his walks?.. Thank You.. |

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | Your going to have to take him out in small increments to the busier side. Maybe sit on your front steps so he can see what is going out there. Zoey didn't want to go in the front either and that is how I got her out there. Good luck.

| Thanks.. I always sit out on the steps and ask Mischa to come, but he'll come as far as the door and run back in.. I would really like him to enjoy the out doors as it would be great for him now that the snow is finally leaving and there is grass showing again.. I hope he clicks on to that outside is fun and not scarey soon.. lol |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Roxie is the same way. It has been to cold and crummy here to get her out, but I tried the other day and had to carry her. I am going to but her leash and harness on in the house as someone on here suggested and let her get use to it. The weather is finally getting better so I am going to try and get her use to it. Pixie is my 2 year old and I got her at 13 months and she hates to go for walks still.

| Mischa is fine outside now as long as I have him off leash.. But he likes to wonder and I remember with Riddick I almost lost him quite a few times from him taking off.. I remember when we still lived in Quebec, and it was the middle of the night, Riddick wanted out side for a pee and as soon as I opened the door he ran out.. I chased him for 3 blocks in my P.J's and bare feet.. I thought I was never going to catch him.. I was so scared.. So now with Mischa I am a bit more careful.. I have to refind Mischa's haulter.. I have mis-placed it again.. |
