| sibling fights.... i'm still kinda new here to YT and i have seen a few ppl with commetns about over posseivness but i have never heard of anyone having a yorkie with the issues my fur-babies have. Daisy and Duke are about 14 months old, and since they were pups they have had what i call "brother/sister issues." It started with just a nip and bark at each other, my mother said that they should cut it out once they got nuetered. So at 6 months the vet said it was okay to finally nueter/spade each of them. After the wounds healed and they were back to normal, they were def back to normal, fighting, in fact it got worse. it now sounds like they will tear each other apart if i dont seperate them. What is really odd is people usually say dontstick a hand in a dog pight but as soon as i place myself between them they stop and move on (for all of 10 seconds until i walk away). usually this fighting is caused by one stealing the others compressed bone (even though thye each have there own)... .........and lately, duke has been trying to (uh excuse the lack of better word) hump daisy, and she HATES IT! thus leading to another fight...did i mention Duke wont take NO for an answer no matter how clear she makes it!!! some one please help!!! |

| If its about the bones, take both bones away. Just don't give it to them if they will fight over it. The humping could mean one is trying to be dominant over the other and the other is not submitting to it. I don't know what to say about the dominance because I only have one yorkie but sometimes they do manage to sort the ranking out themselves but you have to watch them that none of them get hurt. Maybe you can assert your dominance over the both of them so that they look up to you as a leader?

| The humping is definitely a dominance thing Tobey tries it all the time and Isabella squirms away. My vet told me when they get to aggressive with the toy take it from both of them so they know you are in charge.
