Daughter And Yorkie My daughter is 6 yrs old and she is starting to be heartbroken because our yorkie runs from her sometimes. I have started trying to make them hang out together more. I also let him sleep in her bed sometimes. Will they bond evenutally or is there someway I can help them?

I have a five-year-old niece that my yorkie just adores. They play like puppies and have a great time with one another. But there are times when Cooper does not want anything to do with my niece. I take that as a sign that he is tired and doesn't want to be bothered. So I ask my niece to be calm and sit, Cooper will eventually go to her. When your yorkie runs from your daughter is it during times that she is wound up and running around?

Yeah my daughter gets really excited when she is around coco. coco barked at her today though because she wanted to be picked up and put in my daughters bed. My daughter didnt understand at first so she cried. I came in the room right away and calmed her down and put the dog in the bed they laid together or awhile and then the dog jumped out. I think my daughter just needs to be patient. coco is only 5 months
