| Urine problem Hi, I am working on house training my 11 week old Yorkie, but am concerned about one problem. He urinates every time I take him outside, but often when I bring him inside, he will go again several more times, but only a very small amount. I thought he was too young to be marking his territory, but is that what he is doing? Or could he have a medical problem? Thanks for any help you can provide! |

| Welcome to Yt, don't have a male dog so no help there. But I can tell you my Zoie will go 2 times before she comes in the house she gets to excited and wants to come back in the house, instead of doing it all outside. Usually if they are marking it will be a stream. Or it is with out big dog. I know yorkies are different. Someone will answer you here.

| Just FYI in case anyone experiences this problem. I took my Yorkie to the vet just to have him checked, and he did have a urinary tract infection, so he is on antibiotics for it now. So if your Yorkie has these problems, you may want to get him checked! |

| If he's a male, he's marking. Neutering them as young as possible might do the job but not definitely. Until you neuter (if ever) use a bellyband with a pad during the day, and take it off at night when he is kenneled or confined to his sleeping area (with a pee pad). It'll save your rug, your furniture and your good nature! |
