| Un-housebreaking at almost 2? All of the sudden Barney is taking pleasure in peeing everywhere that is not his pee pad. Including right next to my bed- like where I step in and out. The only thing that changed recently- he did start eating more human food- as I let him have a little of this or that. Could this be the problem? Have I messed him up biochemically or what?? I also must admit I can usually trust him now at home to pee on the pee pad- BUT I can not ever trust him to do this elsewhere- and I don't know what to do about that.

| I don't have any advice, just commiseration. Tink gets put off her routine everyime the wind blows in a different direction. She is always in training mode - she's 15 months. Good luck with your little guy. |

| If he's been housebroken and suddenly has started having accidents, I'd suspect a medical reason, most likely a UTI. Peeing inappropriately can also be a sign of diabetes like my Lady has, but he's pretty young for that so I wouldn't worry. He's neutered, isn't he? Could he be marking? Unless you think he is marking, I'd take him to your vet. |
