| peed in crate for first time Hi, my 4 month old Lola peed in her crate for the first time today. She goes all night without accidents. I was gone 2.5 hours (longest she's been alone) and had taken her for a walk before leaving, she had no access to water. I go back to work monday and will have someone come in after 3 hours but I don't want them to have to change her bedding everytime. I had thought about the xpen and I have the 26 height one but am nervous about her jumping out. We have never used pee pads, she is just taken out when she lets us know. I know she can hold it that long. Any ideas? |

| it may have been like an anxiety pee... you said it was the longest that you left her.... alos if you are going to leave her during the day i'd really suggest the x-pen... i knwo you said that someone will come to check on her but being a puppy she needs access to water and food... i'd lay down pee pads on the opposite end of where you would put her bed and food and hope she gets the picture try spending all next weekend teaching her pee pad training. Layla is not pad trained so i'm so sorry but i'm no help with that! good luck! she'll get there |
