| Ideas please I have 2 yorkie babies, Bella is nearing 7 months and Coco is only 16 weeks. They are both pee pad trained and do very well when they are in their ex pen. When I take them out of their to play I leave the door open and they can play in the living room which is open to the kitchen where their ex pen and pee pad are. Well, every single time I have taken Bella out she poops as soon as she is in the livingroom. I decided to have a pee pad near the front door where she was pooping and that didn't stop her she still pooped, about 1 ft away from the pee pad almost like she was trying to avoid doing it where she should. It is random where she decides to go, it could be on the carpet, throw rug or on the slate floor. I have no clue what I can do to stop her from doing this and she seems to do it in a sneaky way on purpose so I think she knows it is wrong. It's always when i'm no looking. My 16 week old pup has never had an accident anywhere other then missing the peepad

| Mindy and Bear have done this as well. It's been getting better lately. My only advice is don't let them out of your site. Only let them out when you are sitting in the room watching them and for short periods of time. Give them lots of praise if you see them go into their xpen to potty. Biggest thing is not to let them out for any length of time. Keep their play time short for the first little while so they get used to not going anywhere else other then their pad. This is the toughest part of owning yorkies so far. Good luck!!!

| litter training belle is actually finally getting the concept of pooping in the litter box and peeing on the pee pads....she use to go all over the house so we built a little coral for her with her litter box and pee pads and bed and water and food in there...since we have done that she has peed and pooped and no accidents in the house...but i know with her litter i have to keep some poop in their so she can smell it and knows that is where she is suppose to go....im finding the litter box works well especially cause its sooo cold outside...i cant take her out yet she just shivers...so this is working out just great...and for the past two weeks she has not had an accident in the house |
