Donating Yorkie Yakker | Welcome Hi--How old is your puppy? My 4yr old at 12 weeks didn't exactly like the crate, and it was hard to put him in there but I was so frustrated by that point that I felt I wanted to take charge and that was the way to do it. I had him since 9 weeks and he was sick... the crate at night saved me. I got up whenever he whined for more than a few minutes to let him out. Gradually I got up less- now he sleeps at the bottom of the bed- but it took a year to trust him.During thew day I just had him leashed to me and took him out often. I have a new little girl yorkie-she is about 14 weeks and I will be starting crate training this week. Sorry so long |

| ok she is 9 weeks now...she is sleeping in the crate by herself now.but during the day we leave it open so she has the choice to go in play and come out. but weve only had her since 24th of dec. about how long is the average time for it to be fully crated and potty traied we take her out in the morning and every ew hours but she still has accidents every now and then..maybe im just being impatient becuase i have been told it does take long than a week lol.

Donating Yorkie Yakker | Dej... Dej---It took Skippy many many months to hold it and not have accidents too often...my breeder for Gabby told me not to even expect her to hold her urine too long until at least 16 weeks old. Their bladders are so tiny. Be patient |

| Bleus Experience WE brought him home Oct 18th and he was born July 23rd... HE HOLDS HIS BUSINESS ... HE TOO IS IN A CRATE WHILE WE ARE GONE. HE IS LET OUT AT 6 AM HE RUNS AND PLAYS HE IS BACK IN CRATE BY 830 BACK OUT BY 4:00 FOR THE REST OF THE AFTERNOON.. HE SLEEPS WITH US.. ONE THING I TOLD A FRIEND AS I AM A STICKLER ON TRAINING AND OBEDIENCE JUST SAY YOUR BABY LIKES THE CRATE IN THE SAME ROOM WITH YOU ... PUT YOUR CRATE IN THE ROOM WITH YOU FOR 2 NIGHTS ON 2ND NIGHT MOVE CRATE CLOSER TO WHERE YOU WANT UR BABY TO SLEEP FULLTIME...DO THIS OVER AND OVER TILL EVENTUALLY THEY ARE RIGHT WHERE YOU WANT THEM.... PATIENCE IS THE KEY AND THEY ARE LIKE BABIES IF YOU RUN TO THEIR EVERY WHIMPER OR CRY THEY KNOW IT AND THEY WILL WHIMPER AND CRY TO GET YOUR ATTENTION WHEN NOTHING IS WRONG LEARN YOUR BABY AND YOUR BABIES CRY AND BEST OF LUCK TO YOU TRULY ..
