| I pick mine up, point to the spot she potted at and say NO! No! then I take her to where I have the pad and put her on it and say very happily and higher pitched, potty potty, this is where we potty at. Then clap!! It makes them happy. Then in a few days...they will start to get it. Best Wishes!!! Have patience it will happen! |

| Are you trying to train her to go outside or inside? If you can I'd either take her to the pee pads or outside atleast every hour until she finally gets it.

| house breaking Got our Lola at 6 months and she had not been housebroken at all. We pad trained her with a lot of persistence. I stayed home for about a week straight and every hour or so put her on the pad and said go potty. When she finally went I praised her a gave her a treat. I kept putting her on the pad even though she kept getting off until she went. One time I even sat on a chair at the bathroom door (where we have the pads) and read a magazine until she went. After she went she could play for a while and then back in the crate. It took about a week but she is totally trained now. Sometimes she misses the pads but it is always near the pad so think that is successful. Good luck to you. Now I have a lot of questions for the next step. morrislaz |

| We live in New York too! And I know exactly what you're experiencing. Zoe was totally trained to got outside and rarely had an accident. I was so proud and happy. And then this awful weather hit and if I'm lucky, she'll run out and pee. If it's not too cold. Otherwise, she just stands there and shivers. I almost wish I had only pee pad trained her as she now has forgotten what pee pads are so it's almost like starting over. I'm trying to be patient as really, I can't blame her, I don't want to go out in this weather either. She's holding it a really long time now too so it's hard to tell when she does have to go. Well, not much help from me I guess, but good luck! |
