Donating YT 11K Club Member | 2 cockatiels need a good home-free I don't know where to put this, im sorry admin, if it needs to be moved then please do. I have 2 cockatiel birds that my mom doesn't want anymore I live in her house so i have to give them away, they're not really just mine, they are ours. Anyway she doesn't want them anymore so if anyone loves birds and is in the NY area you can PM me. I think they are both males, im not sure. They have to go together cause if they get separated they start screaming to be back together.

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | i'm sorry your mom wants you to rehome your cockatiel. my mom wasn't fond of mine either because of the mess she made. I rehomed mine because i felt she wasn't getting enough attention. She now lives with a nice lady i used to work with who has another cockatiel. they all get along great and i'm sure she's much happier.

| Good luck finding them new homes!! It is said that males have the brighter orange cheek patches while females' patches are more dull. The male's crests are yellow tipped with gray. And some females have an all grey or brown head and females also have spots under their wing feathers and barring on their tail feathers. Hope that helps some on whether you have males or females. I would say the one in the pictures is a male.

Yep, the barring under the tail feathers is only on the females. I have one female and one male. I posted a while back cause I am looking for homes for them, too. They were my son's. | |

| I hope you found them a good home.. we acutally "found" a cockatiel this summer... well, she found us... we were all outside starting up a grill and this thing flew into my boyfriend's brother's head.. he got so freaked.. Fortuantely, I had a cage at my old house from parakeets I had way back when. "Buddy" that's what I call her, is such a scaredy cat, though, she won't let anyone put their finger (let alone hand) in her cage.. she'll just start screeching Someone must have really abused her She is beautiful though.. Mizzwanned.. how did you guys train your birds?? I love the picture on the one with London.. I wish I could get this one to do that

| There are some wonderful bird rescue organizations so you might want to google and see if there are any in your area.
