| New Doggy Restaurant in Russia What kind of dog is this? It sort of resembles a Yorkie, but I don't quite think it is one. A dog sniffs its food in a restaurant called 'Tampopo' in the center of Kiev, April 15, 2004. Tampopo is the first restaurant for visitors with their pets in the capital of the ex-Soviet Ukraine. | Isn't that the same dog in that Jack Nicholson movie, "As Good as it Gets"?? It's some type of terrier, but not a Yorkie. Was it a Cairn Terrier? I know Dorothy's dog is a Carin Terrier. |

Oh I think you are right Junebug! It's a Brussels Griffon. I knew they looked familiar. We need to get our Yorkies featured prominently in some movie! http://www.akc.org/breeds/recbreeds/brusgrif.cfm

You're right! You're right! It is a Brussels Griffon! I couldn't remember the name of the breed! I heard that Charlotte from Sex & the City was originally supposed to have Yorkie, because her last name is "York," but for some reason they ended up using a cocker spaniel or whatever it was..... bad choice.

With all the health codes around here, though, I dunno if you could open one of these restaurants here. It'd be cool though!

Fancy schmancy! I would think lots of dog-friendly cities would allow this type of place? I'd go!
