| Thanks Yorkiemom1970, the sock!! I have a basket of mix matched socks, in hopes of one day finding the other one. Well, I only had 2 socks in there. I took your advice, and tied a knot in one for Adonis (my 5 year old yorkie), and omg, he loved it, took it on the sofa with him. So I got the other out, and tied a knot in it, and put it in Venus's crate. She really loves that thing, and I've been hearing all kinds of new noises out of her since. Just wanted to say thanks for the info here. Something cheap, and seems everyone has a few spare ones around the house! |

| Well, my socks consist of anklets, kinda hard to tie together. Venus is now sleeping on hers as a pillow! With all the new yorkie shots I'm looking at, really need some cheap ideas on toys! |

| This is a very good idea! Mojo has always tried to steal our socks (dirty or clean) - He is always looking for something new! Thanks for sharing this!

| A Twist on the Sock toy Fagan loves to play with empty plastic water bottles. I put one into a tube sock he LOVES it. It really keeps him busy...

| You're welcome! I am/was yorkiemom1970 for some time on here, I took a break and when I came back I had to choose a new user name. I'll always be "yorkiemom" at my house regardless! Glad you liked the idea! I have lots of those "sock knots" all over the place around here |

A variation on this we love: a squeaky rubber ball inside a sock. It bounces great, makes noise, and has tug-capabilities! The best toy ever!!! | |

| Oh-another idea I forgot to add in my last post-I bought some C-A-T toys for Emma. Don't tell her!!! But, I found that the small tennis balls and rubber mice/birds were just the right size for her to chase and catch. Check out your local pet store-usually they'r really cheap too!! She looks so funny carrying around those toys that are just as big as she is, it was nice to find something more on her scale! |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | The Sock Toy STILL gets action in my house and mine are 2 and 4 years old - another idea is just ball up a sock and put it in the tied sock so there is weight at one end - they really love that too - My girls back when we got Cheri wrestling over their sock toys - they still do this too - |
