| Fun Toys for Yorkies? Hey everyone, I am a new Yorkie owner who really has no clue how to raise this breed of dog but due to some unfortunate circumstances I am having to learn. I am much more used to big dogs that I can get a giant rope and rawhide for then leave them to play. This seems to not really be the case with my new little guys, so what could you all suggest as good toys to get them, both so they don't get bored and so that I can tire them out when need be Thanks for all your help in advance everyone. |

YT 2000 Club Member | Dog toys You have to be careful with toys for yorkies. They will chew things up and even get to the squeaker. The Kong toys my dogs like. No stuffed toys. Ripped those up. Balls are good but not the light plastic. Bought a hose type and they chewed that up. Hope you can find fun toys. Always supervise and if they bite off a piece it is trash. |

| We bought our 12 week old "Lola" a couple of fabric toys which squeak and make a crinkled sound when she pounces on them. She loves them but, after reading, wonder if they are safe? |

| Buddybear has and loves squeaky toys, no problems with ingesting any or with stuff toys which he seems to prefer. I think due to the mouth feel.

| These two seem to be pretty mature so I don't know if they will be tearing everything up, Kong toys are a good shout out though! Thank you! |

| My Gidget never has taken to the kongs. She just ignores then and goes on to something else. Have tried the peanut butter which she loves but no success. |

| I buy the kong toys because they are safe for these little Yorkies. My little girl is 13 weeks old and she wants to chew on everything, they are cutting teeth at this age and I keep an eye on her all the time. |

| Our yorkie loves playing ball and he loves the flirt pole. He also plays with a kong bear and duck quite a bit. The ball is by far his favorite thing and tires him out. We like to tease that we are putting him on a soccer team.

| We found the laser pointer highly effective. And actually more dangerous for the humans in the house who need a little peace and quiet. Shine the laser pointer just once, and...not going to happen.
