Can't touch me! I've been away from here for a while. When you get submerged in a depression, not much matters the way it did. I'm climbing out but it'll take a while. Reesie is doing ok, gaining some weight this winter and up to 6.5 pounds. We play inside, usually fetch the squeaky, and there's an assortment of squeakies. But... she rarely brings them back to me. Always drops them 4 or 5 feet away. She's always been that way. Also, to get her leashed up to go out for our poopoo walk, I'll have to chase her. She never liked the 'come here' command. Her Border Cillie buddy Cindy was like that to, but I think she really liked to play keep away. Anyone have any advice?

One other thing she does that's strange, is that if I go out for an hour or two, she'll bark at me when I come home like she has no idea who I am. That's the same way she acts if there's a knock on the door. Strange little box of rocks. She gets the princess treatment all the time. Treats will work if she's in the mood for treats.

My Darla has recently started that but it's more that she's finally settling in iur home and knowing this is her home. She protects it while we are away. Any sudden people walk in she's up and barking as if who is that in my home. But she stops immediately once she recognizes who it is. We live in the country on a hill so she's finally become accustom to the creaks and noises from the house settling and such. Now she can distinguish the difference between normal and not. IMO I could be wrong. Darla is always up for a treat and food lol.

We're out in the country too, and Reesie will go nuts when there's deer, turkeys, squirrels, anything that moves. With Cindy gone, the squirrels finally feel safe enough to wander the yard. That's another thing I've been thinking about, Reesie being bored and lonely. Cindy died in 2012 of aggressive bladder cancer and I've been thinking about bringing another dog into the house so Reesie has a companion with four legs. I found one that's a rescued stray but I don't know what her fate is yet.

| Dogs will do what they expect you to do If he drops the toy 5 feet away from you and you Go and Get it ... That's what your dog will think you want Believe me .... If your dog wants to play and you don't pick it up .... Eventually he will bring it to you
