| More durable loofah dog? Lola loves them, but they don't hold up very well. I wouldn't consider her a destructive dog and these are the only toys we've had a problem with. Her first was a hula girl from petco, it was made of soft loopy fabric like most of them. Within a few days she ripped the ear off and just about made a hole in it from picking at the fabric. The second one is an animal print one from petsmart, the material is kinda like a beanie baby. She ripped the arm off within 2 hours. I fixed it. |

| My guys LOVE the loofa, but yes they can destroy it in minutes. Playing tug of war, fetch, humping it (only Princess will do this), using it as a pillow, I mean it's their fav so I keep buying it for them. I sew it up, wash it, they play w/it, it gets slobber all over it, we do it all over again loll. They have a canvas style loofa that is very durable. So far, I've washed it several x's & Turbo has managed to nibble off the ears (very strong chewer), we've had it for about 6 months. I have it for sale on my site, but you can probably get it @ your local pet store. It's the 2nd one called "Loofa Gazette' toplinepet.com

| Thanks, I'll probably buy one of those for her. I can't believe how poorly made they are or why that loopy fabric is so popular. Lola has a lot of cheap toys that she plays heavily with without a problem. So far I haven't had to re-fix the animal print one. I also bought her a neoprene one, thinking it would hold up better. The stitching did, but the fabric didn't. She picked at the fabric until the foam layer (it's like thing fabric over foam and then stuffing) was showing in a big spot in the back. I felt terrible taking it away, she played with it for 2 and a half days straight, but I don't know if I can fix it. |

| I have become a big fan of the Fugly Friend toys available on Etsy. My crew can't destroy them and love to play with these adorable toys. Here's the link. Fugly Friends by fuglyfriend on Etsy

| Thanks but I'm only looking for toys similar to the loofa dogs. Lola has over 20 stuffed toys and these are the only ones I've had to fix. She even has a bunch of the 2/$5 ones from petco. |

| I found a canvas skeleton loofa dog tonight, hopefully it'll hold up better. |
