| Paddling pool We have been expericing some hot weather here in the UK which is a rarity! My lily hasn't taken to it too well and has been a bit life less. So today whilst out I saw a little child's paddling pool and brought it. On returning home I filled it with about an inch of water and put all her balls in it. Lily thinks this is the best thing ever! She has been in and out, rolled in it, laid in it and generally had a grand old time! I've just had to put the umbrella over it so she doesn't get heat stroke as now I can't get her out of it, it's good to have my playful Lily pups back!! |

| That is fantastic! Several pet owners in the US do that for their pups. I would love to myself but just haven't--yet!

| Isn't it wonderful when they get back to normal?!!? I tried Harry in a little pool...but he didn't really like it. So I put the sprinkler on the grass (now the hose-pipe ban's over, woo hoo! ) and he LOVES running in and out of it So now he's a constant mess, but who cares? Sally x |

| Mine love the little pool too. It gets pretty toasty in Arizona during the summer (2012 was tied for the hottest year ever with 1989 according to the local news). From time to time I put a few ice cubes in the water and spend a good amount of time laughing as the pups try to pick them up. Such silly little dogs. |

| If we have another hot summer in Jersey, I am thinking about getting a little kiddie pool for Camrey, too.

| What a wonderful idea. I'm gonna have to try that this summer for Chloe.

| That sounds great. My GG absolutely hates being wet so during the hotter days in Australia, I gave him a large block of ice to lick
