| Does your yorkie ever do this? I have a boy yorkie who just turned 6 and when I began dating my boyfriend 3 years ago my b/f started teasing him whenever we gave him a treat--acting like he was going to steal it although not really, but our dog LOVES the game. When we give him a treat if we don't try and pretend to take it, he will bring it to us and drop it at our feet and then growl and wag his tail cause he wants us to tease him. I just think it is silly and we just got a female puppy a few months ago and now she LOVES the game. She wants us to chase her around the house when she has her treat. I think it is so odd and of course our male dog loves playing the game more with my boyfriend than with me, but he just loves it. Has anyone else experienced this? |

| Oh, yes, Tibbe does this a lot. He loves the competition for the treat and loves that I compete with him for it, making a long game out of it sometimes.

| Haha, Rhia loves this game. :P When she'll be playing with a toy I will go to grab it, and she just loves turning away and staring at me out of the corner of her eye. Her little tail goes and she'll come forward with it, then suddenly run away. That little competition is just so fun for them.

| Lol, that was how I was able to get Pixie to start eating. When I got her, apparently the only thing she'd been given as food was chicken baby food, because she didn't seem to recognize anything else as food. But teasing her by offering her bit, and pulling it away, and repeating a few times, then "letting" her have it, got Pixie to begin to eat everything. New her motto is if YOU have food, WE have food. |

| Ahi does this all the time...with everything i'm looking at. lol The other day I had a stack of mail I was going through. Everytime I picked up and envelope to look at it she would come and take it away from me and it's funny cause the envelope is twice her size. So I ignored her and picked up another envelope...she dropped the one she had to come and run to me to take that one away. She even walked slow and looked back at me to make sure I was coming after her. She does this with her comb, her skin siblings homework and toys. Just about everything. LOL
