Thank goodness Higgins likes those 94 cent toys from WalMart!!! He expects a "present" each time we go shopping and come home with lots of bags......

Spoiled? My dog?

Default Try This!!!!

I've been visiting the Thrift Shops and the Dollar stores and picking up the soft baby toys with squeakers and the soft clothe baby rattles and my Kizsez goes wild for them. Like all of you, I also think that she loves the squeaker and rattle sounds.

Neat! I don't think our Wal Mart has doggy toy bin...

Regan has a toy from Petsmart that I got her and she LOVES it. It kinda looks like a flat, pink hamster, but it has a squeaker inside of it and she gets SOOO excited when I squeak it. She's good at squeaking it too. Whenever she has it in her mouth I say, "Squeak it!" in a really high voice and she sets it down and bites it as fast as she can to squeak it. She's a pro at it, lol.

Also, some of her favorite toys are socks. If you say, "Where's your toy?!" to her, she will frantically look around for one of her squeaky toys, but if she can't find one she'll just get a sock to play tug-a-war with.

Just got back from Walmart and got some of the 94 cent dog toys. At my Walmart they are in the front area in bins right where the carts are.

Toys

These aren't as cheap but both our Yorkies like the new "Loofa" that is sold at PetsMart. They are long and narrow almost like a hot dog shape. They love them - they fight over them - they carry them all around. It's hard to get them to squeak though but that's OK by me! LOL

It seems that the squeaker toys are the Yorkie's favorite toy. It makes my pupies dance around and jump on me like it's loaded with addictive drugs! It's actually cute to see that look in their eyes. Kiwi is MUCH more playful than Cleo. Cleo seemed to slow down with playtime when Kiwi arrived. But they still play together though.
I like buying toys they can play together with, like tug-o-war. They have such good moves and can often Juke bigger dogs. The bigger dogs don't like it when a small dog out manueuvers them constantly.

Yes that would be bobo from the petsmart commercial. Got both lil bear and moose ones for christmas. Moose loves bobo, he is always with her. Lil bear on the other hand just cuddles with her bobo.

If not, maybe she just likes orange.
Zeke has this orange bone too and it is also one of his favorite toys! Of course he won't touch the $8 Kong with the $7 filling, but he loves that orange bone! I should've stocked up on them because the last time I went to Wal-Mart the bin with those toys was gone! Oh well, Zeke will have to find a new favorite when his orange bone wears out!

We have the same orange bone, got it for Kahlua when he was really young. It has been his one of his favorite toys since then. Its the perfect size for him to run with it in his mouth and squeak it continously!!

Oh how funny, it's the same in this house too. My 7 year old expects his toy when those bags rattle. Sometimes if I have been out shopping (not at the pet store or walmart), I have to pull a fast one on him. Or I try to, he is really smart and knows when I am doing that! Smartest/Sweetest/Best dogs on the planet!
I think we have about 4 of the orange bones in the toy basket, now the babies play with them and he is very good about sharing! Too bad those squeakers don't last with the little sharp teeth on them...The little 'blue man' toy still squeaks they love that!
If you watch the toys that walmart puts out , sometimes you they have them for .84.,
now that's a bargain!
