Fair Oaks OR Sacramento, CA- play group? I have a male yorkie who LOVES the dog park, but definitely prefers playing with other yorkies as they are the only ones spunky enough to keep up with him! I will be adding another yorkie to my family soon and would love to find a yorkie playgroup in either Fair Oaks or Sacramento, CA before then. If there isn't a group in place yet, let's start one! The best park I've found so far is on Sunset and Hazel, called Phoenix Park. Hope there are other Sacramento-ians searching for a playgroup as well!

I have yet to go to the Phoenix park. I always go to C bar C. Does Phoenix have a small dog park and a big dog park separate? I live in Citrus Heights so we are super close!

I haven't been to that dog park, but only because I heard it wasn't very nice, especially in comparison to Phoenix Park. They have about 2.5 acres of pure GRASS, half of that is just for our little guys! It's always very clean there, and I have never had any problems with any of the dogs. I would definitely recommend it to you!

There is a yorkie play group that meets once a month, usually Saturdays and usually at c bar c park. Although the location is known to change every once in a while. This month for the meet up is a pool party for the little ones . Fun fun! Here is the link to the website. The Sacramento Yorkie Play Group (Sacramento, CA) - Meetup.com

This is an old thread, but did you guys discover a good meeting place? I have a new baby and live in the same area, just looking for a better way to socialize her than with big dogs..

They meet every third Saturday of the month at c bar c park. I would suggest joining the website, all the info is on there. If the location does change it will be listed on the website.
