| Does you yorkie do this? Mare, the small one, she is 10 months, is very persistant! She picks up a toy and places it in front of my feet when I'm sitting on the couch. She sits and looks at me wagging her tail at 100mph - the signal is clear: "Mommy, play with me!" If I do not comply, she will take the toy and growl at it while shaking it violently and looking at me as if to say: "See, it's really really fun!", then place it at my feet and wag her tail again. If this does not make me pick it up she will start to bark at me in a certain way, like tiny low impatient barks. If I do not respond, Kali, the older dog will come and play with her. But it is so funny to watch her sitting there barking impatient at me while wagging her tail violently to get me to play with her. Kali never did anything like that, she always just waited for me to take the initiative to play. I love that my dogs have such different personalities!

| That's so cute!!! Bentley used to do that a lot when he was an only "child" Since there are four of them now it seems he doesn't do it as much. Sometimes little Charlie will come to my feet and bark the cutest little bark when he wants me to pick him up

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Too funny. Eddie used to do that all the time. I couldn't go anywhere in the house without him following me around. When I sat down, he'd park right in front of me, whimper and let out little barks. I'd look down, and there woould be a toy there at my feet. He's getting better with age, but he'll still do it a couple times a week, especially when I get off work and try to park myself in front the computer.

| My Munchkin does it all the time. I cannot sit down for a minute that she is there. First with a toy and a wagging tail, then the little low yippy bark, then the bark gets louder and louder. I have no choice but to play with her. Sometimes if I'm on the couch and not paying attention, she will throw her toy at me. She sometimes does that when I'm not waking up the way she thinks I should - stands on my head and throws a toy in front of my face. And I would post a lot more if she wasn't in my arms when I'm on the computer. She definately thinks she should be a part of my computer experiences. These babies are just like little children, and I love her for it!

| Your story made me giggle, too cute! Yes, Schatzie does the same exact thing and I can see you are unable to ignore the "Yorkienese" speech as I can't. LOL

| My little guy does this all the time, anytime ANYONE sits down by the couch he grabs his toys and puts them down by our feet, if we are not listening he starts barking first with a little growl, and then he goes full swing into his big bark, that's his way, of saying "Helllloooooo, I'm here play with me! They are too funny, it's so cute how they are all so much alike in personality. Here's one of him with one of his favorite toys.

| Winston does the same thing daily. You gotta laugh. Winston will bring one toy at a time and put in at our feets. If we don't pay attention and play with him then he'll start bringing other toys... just to say "ok mommy, if you don't like to play with duckie, little bear then maybe the ball". By the time that I finish cooking half of our meal...I might have 4---5----6 toys under foot. What is funny is when I tell him "no baby! you play by yourself." He'll just run to his toy basket and take one toy at a time and prance with it to our master bedroom (well, his room). At the end all 30-40 toys are scattered in all over the floor and Winston right in the middle so proud of himself. |

| Riley's favorite toy is a rubber squeeky hamburger. He isn't polite enough to drop it at my feet. He gets it in his mouth and pokes me with it. Over and over! Sooner or later, I give in and throw it for him. Two seconds later, we are back to poke-poke-poke. |

| Trixie does the same thing! Especially when I am on the computer or on the phone. She'll bring me a toy and push it against my leg. Then she puts it down next to me, sits down and wags her tail. Then she'll give me the little barks and take the toy and kill it!!! |

| My little guy shakes his stuff toys wildly too. All is fine till he let's go and swings into the direction of my face. Snaps me out of where ever my mind was. Mmmmmmm!!! come to think of it, how does he aim so well into my direction When he gets tired of the stuff toy, he plays with our cat. He runs like a maniac all around her then at some point he bounces himself off of her. They started doing a new thing lately....standing up right and kinda boxing. Don't worry everyone! This has been going on for a year. The cat never uses her claws. And they are the best of buddies. Sleep together etc. |

| Can your dog count??? Oh, I guess they all love there attention at the end of the day and keep waiting for us to sit down. I remember one horrible storm and the woman across the hall said " Where are you going in this" Out to get carrots for Crystal. I'm sure she thought I was nuts. We have this ritual every night unless we are visiting and she goes with the flow and forgets it BUT NOT HERE. She gets a Bil Jac liver treat, three mini carrots and a half a biscuit...this is between 7 pm and midnight. She will come and sit in front of me as if to say "Get your mind off that IT'S MY TIME" I can get a phone call after giving her two carrots before the call and I'll be danged if she doesn't know she has another one coming. After the 3rd shes fine. My Molly wouldn't let me stay up after the 11pm news. REALLY!! I came to the conclusion that she remembered the music that was played at the beginning of the news and knew the voice of the newscaster and since I normally went to bed at that time God in Heaven don't try to change her schedule. I would have just stayed up but she'd go in the bedroom and bark so loud, I was afraid she'd wake the people in my condo. Can you believe

| dexter hasn't ever put it at my feet, but he will pay it on top of my hand, in a book if i am reading, or on the keyboard if i am typing...it's so cute. then he starts "whispering" (we had to learn how to whisper to replace the loud, high pitch barking he greeted guests/ passer byers with) |
