My Lil Man! Donating Member | Treat ball...safe?? I was just wondering if the Everlasting Treat Balls are safe?? Ever since the food and treat recall I ALWAYS read the ingredients and I noticed that they have wheat gluten in it which is one of the things that caused many of the recalls. If I remember correctly I think the chicken flavor doesnt have it in there but for those whose babies have allergies and cant have good and treats with chicken...that doesnt work for them. (Reeses doesnt have allergies but I try to not give him lots of stuff with chicken in it just in case he has a very low allergy to it...I dont want to trigger it if that makes any sense Lol. ) Just wondering if those who have them what you think about them and if you think they will be ok. That is the only reason I never bought one was b/c I was scared of the wheat gluten...didnt know if they might recall stuff again! Thanks!!! |

| Not sure but I was going to go pick one up today because they were discussing it on another thread about how much yorkies love these toys. I had no idea that yorkies could have an allergy to chicken. Is that common? The majority of my treat that I give my pup are pure chicken. Let me know please.

My Lil Man! Donating Member | Sloan..I sent you a PM but just to share with everyone else in case they are wondering too..... If you give your baby chicken and he/she hasnt had a reaction then your good. I have always heard that some dogs have food allergies and usually foods with chicken in them are what causes the allergies. If you look at allergy free formula food none of them have chicken in them, there is also some other ingredients that they substitute but im not sure what they are. lol. I have given Reeses chicken flavored treats before and he likes it and is fine so I dont think he has an allergy to it, however I do give him allergy free food just because I would rather do that to start with rather than find out he has an allergy after a reaction. Just a "puttin my guard up" kinda thing I do. Lol. |

| Tricksie had one for over a year and loved it, never chewed any of the material, I bought another one but she chewed the rubber, I threw it away and the first one was worn out. I just ordered her a medium size, have not gotton it yet. The very best and oldest toy is the Everlasting Funball, it has been indestructible and she has fangs that can eat ANYTHING. I put a chunk of her doggie cookine in it and she will play for a long time trying to get it out. Sometimes she does but if she can't, finally gives up and brings it to me to get it for her.
