I bought both the tent and the seashell one and Tucker just carries the whole thing around. He doesn't get the concept of pulling out the toys inside. Is there a way to "teach" them how to play with one of these? Or is it just they get it or they don't?

I found them in a section of open cubbies. On the bottom row. I thought it would be hanging up ans didn't see them the first time through the pet aisles. I finally found them where the toys are in cubbies based on price.

This is also where we found ours.

As for how to get them to understand the concept. I just sat on the floor and squeaked the toys, with Harley sitting with me. I then put them back in the tent while he was still watching me...he then immediately knew that he had to get them out in order to play with the little squeakers. Poor guy just adored this toy and now there are none left. He had torn up 2 of the 3 and last night, he finshed off the elephant.

I hope to find this toy tomorrow when I drive down to the states for some shopping. (I live in Canada). I saw this toy here and it was 25 BUCKS!!!! I cannot believe how much cheaper it is in the states! Well, yes, I can believe it....everything is so much cheaper down there!

Anyhoo....wish me luck! There is only two places in the place I am going to that may carry it.

We Went to Target about a month ago and we got the shell with the starfish, fish and crab. Cookie likes the toys but has not tryed to get them out of the shell, we have to pull them part way out and then she will pull them the rest of the way out. She is a little afraid of stuff that she has to put her head or nose in so maybe she will get use to it.

Were you able to find it here in the states?? I just saw this thread, and my Target has them (I bought my SB one yesterday). Maybe I can help you and ship one to you??

my target have them also...i was going to buy it but the quality didn't see too sturdy...i rather would buy a hide-a-squirrel or hide-a-bee instead...since they are the same concept...hehe

My Gracie has almost destroyed her Hide a Squirrel...

That is true! I need to purchase some!! Gracie has razor teeth I guess....

I've also mended a few holes she has put in the trunk! She runs around with it... hehe

wow...hehe...maybe she needs the larger size...hehe...my babies only cares about the squirrels...not the trunk...i am hoping to get a hide-a-bee this GE but if not I will buy it myself...hehe
