| Mommy to 3 Princesses Donating Member  |  What has TC been up to? Check it out!! Besides trying to get caught up on orders since I was out of town I have had a major project going on for several weeks now. This is something that is very dear to my heart and is extremely important to me. My YT family is the first to know about it and I need a little help giving my project a title. First I want to give you a brief(well it was supposed to be brief  lol) explanation on what the project is. I have always loved nature, animals of all sorts, and marine life. I spend many sleepless nights feeling like sometimes my life is not meaningful becasue I am not doing anything construcitve towards these things that I am so passionate about. When I grew up I had always planned to be an environmental scientist of some sort but obviously my life took a different route and becuase of this Ive always felt like I defied my passions a bit. But I love my business and I love what I do of course! And I also have always had a passion for art and design and I absolutely love dogs and my business is a huge way for me to express this so I am definetly doing something I am very passionate about. But anyways, after watching all the Planet Earths I finally got a great idea to sort of combine all my passions. I decided I would design a line of dog clothing with certain environmental themes and dontate a portion of the proceeds to different environment organizations. For instance the tropical harness dress and vest pictured below will cost about $20 and $5 of each one sold will go to www.saveourseas.org an ocean conservation organization, I have also designed several animal themed clothing and $5 of each one sold will go to WWF or WorldWildLife.orgThese are the only 2 organizations I have planned so far but I also plan to do a breast cancer clothing item to donate money to the Susan G Komen Foundation. I really love what I do but I want it to serve even more of a purpose than just fashion or "pampering" our sweet furbabies so I am very very excited about this project and hope I can get even more organizations to donate to. So the help I need from you guys is what to call or title this project?  I need to add these products to my website and Im not sure what to call the department, I really go brain dead when it comes to thinking of simple things like this. So if anyone has any idea please pm me and let me know. Also if you have any suggestions for other organizations for me to look into adding to my project please let me know. Im also very excited to announce that I have found a local rescue group that Tinkerbell's Closet will be donating a portion of our monthly profits to. I will post all about this rescue group on my website soon! I would also like to let everyone know that this weekend I will have 2 items on my website (pictured in the next post) that I am selling to help raise money Chi-Chi a chihuahua that YT member Kalina82 rescued and has found a very loving home for. Chi-Chi needs a $3,500 surgery and we are trying to take some of this financial burden off Chi-Chi's new owners, for the full story please check out these 2 threads: Update on Chi-Chi Chiquita/Chi-Chi/Cheech the Chihuahua $10 for each harness vest or skirted harness vest purchased will go to Chi-Chi. | I'm defnitely in when you do something for Susan G Komen. As you know, breast cancer awareness is something very near to me, since in the last three years I've had my mother and grandmother diagnosed. And we've had another scare with another relative, who is still in the testing process....praying for her. BTW, this is a GREAT thing you're doing!!!

| Dan&Corine have great ideas. I like the idea of having the applique on it. Sorry I have no good name suggestions myself but would be definately into anything for cancer awareness. I lost my mom (at age 37) & my baby sister (at age 32) to breast cancer - it runs in our family. We've been tested for the genetic marker but our family is outside the norm in that they have not been able to find the defect in the gene but we have so much family history spanning at least 3 generations that they know it's genetic for us. Anyways, good luck and that sounds like such a great idea! |

| Wow...what a great idea to give back! I'm especially excited about the breast cancer line (hopefully you can incorporate some boy stuff in too...even though it's pink). Cancer also runs in my family, and we do have the gene, but I haven't been tested yet... My aunt died very young and one of my cousins also in her 30s, and I've had many more blood relatives who have fought the disease. Also, my step-mom has had it twice, but enough about my life story......This is a great thing you're doing, and I can't wait for the breast cancer items!!! Good luck with it all
