| I should have mentioned that! No I do not own ChloeBella.com. With the company I am using to help me with my site I cannot create any store coupons...or credits . I would have to upgrade to an account that is $45 more a month to do that. I may do that in the future if I can afford it! So I just looked around on YT members sites for gift cards and ChloeBella.com was the only one I saw that had gift cards so I went ahead and bought $10 gift card which I will split into $5 cards. Pet Silk is a GREAT shampoo and I am not just saying that because I sell it . It comes in some really great scents and after you give your dog a bath the scent will stay for some time. Also I suggest buying the shampoo and conditioner. I used the mountain berry (smells awesome) shampoo and conditioner on Smudge and his coat was soo much softer than with my old shampoo. I do carry Pet Silk Oatmeal shampoo and conditioner also. So I hope that clears things up! I do not own Chloebella.com. Also the $5 gift certificates are still available!Thank you for asking!! |

| Im not sure what her shipping prices are but I just wanted to mention that shipping is more expensive than most people realize especially on items like grooming products, they are relatively heavy. I personally use USPS priority mail w/tracking (as my 3 years experience has taught me NOT to trust slower less secure cheaper mail such as USPS first class) therefore my basecost start at $4.45 for under a pound just to certain places in the USA. 1 or 2 shampoos weigh enough that they will easily put a package at over a pound possibly a few pounds depending on number of products ordered and this will take prices to $7-9 for priority mail postage cost. Now so far I am just talking postage cost, there is still the cost of packaging supplies to consider such as bubblewrap (that stuff is expensive), labels, tape, ink cartridges, etc etc. I have often lost a dollar or 2 on shipping grooming products, beds, etc. Plus when you first start a website it takes awhile to figure out the whole shipping thing and how much to charge, wether to base it on total order cost, individual item weight, etc.

| Shipping and handling can definitely be pretty expensive, but with the continued escalation of gas prices, everything else goes up as well . Considering everyone gets a break on not paying a sales tax (except if your state really does not charge one like OR ), that alone is already a tremendous savings to all online buyers. Plus the advantage of savings on your time and gas expense going to the store. I am sure you will readjust your shipping and handling charges once you get the hang of it. It is however better to lose on shipping charges (initially) than to discourage customers from ordering first time just to check out your merchandise and service. Starting a business can be pretty expensive as there is inventory to maintain and costs to cover. Wishing you tons of good luck on your new business. You cannot find a better customer than YT members - they are simply the BEST! |
