I do have a friend who goes to CA every month that could bring them back to me from there. Besides helping us to help others, I of course will love them very much, and because of our nonprofit they will get a lot of love and care from others. I have a very playful 1 year old yorkie Lola who needs a friend who can keep up with her. I also have another med. sized dog as well as well as a small child so the dog must get along with children and other dogs. This is my second time posting "Benson" for sale. I haven't had time to aggressively find him his forever home. Circumstances have changed in my family, and so I've lowered his price and am hoping someone great will want to take him home with them! He has a gorgeous black and tan coat that is easy to manage. He has a loving, playful personality and good around all people and other animals. Has a special interest for cats. Enjoying bathing and being blow dried! (Well, maybe just tolerates it ...) We've been working on his potty pads and is doing a pretty good job. Obviously will need some more work.

His daddy comes from Heavenly Yorkies show kennel in Indiana, and his mom's lines are from the Yorkmont show kennel in Atlanta. He's got UMPTEEN champions in his lines! I am expecting his final weight to be somewhere about 5.5 lbs full grown. (Could be a candidate to carry on his awesome lines, but breeding rights are not sold to just anyone, and there is a fee for exclusive breeding rights. )

Benson will come with a health guarantee, microchip, neuter contract and puppy kit. I have several references if you would like them. I am willing to hold until Christmas. 14. Any additional information you want to add: This little girl is adorable. I have been breeding this line for over 10 years and they are usually full grown at 6 months. Little Bit was the first of her litter to learn how to go up and down the stairs, (much to my shock and fear). I am going to copy what I posted to someone in a PM about her personality:”She isn't especially noisy but will bark with her sister when something gets their attention. She is playful, will cuddle when I pick her up but isn't pushy for my attention when my hands are busy. She is sleeping on the floor next to my feet at the moment. She seems to have a combination personality that is balanced, not wild or fearful. She goes potty on the paper and loves the attention she gets when I notice her going potty and praise her. She will leave a band in her hair and not pull it out as long as it's not too tight. She wants to go places with me but I work all week so don't get the chance to do that but I bet she will be a great companion to visit all the wonderful places out there, PetSmart and all the other doggie wonders of the world. LOL” She has been spayed and getting her stitches out today and has now had all of her shots including her Rabies. Keep these things in mind as you compare prices. You won’t have to spend the extra $$ to get all the shots or worry during a spay. It’s already done!

A little over a year ago, I thought about getting another Yorkie, but we had too many problems going on. My stepfather, diagnosed with cancer, he is in stage 3b right now and getting chemo...

A few weeks ago, our Chihuahua passed away. Her name was Mutzie (Little Kisses). When she was born, she was the runt... she started losing weight and we had to force feed her with an eye dropper every few hours.
She lived, and we kept her... for 13 years...

She lived a good life and my stepfather treated her like she was a daughter to him. He was devastated when she had to be put to sleep because she was taking siezures daily and she was really suffering. It was heartbreaking... for all of us.

Not only for just us, but for Roxy as well. Mutzie was the only playmate she really had. Although Mutzie was older and had bad hips, they would bark back and forth at each other and Roxy would chase her and they would play.

I miss her... but no matter what... I want Roxy to be happy. I want her to have someone to be youthful with her and play with her.

So, now, I think that its the right time. Roxy will be 3 years old and Sunday, and we are having a big birthday party for her. :) (You know I will take pictures!)... And my stepfather was talking the other day about Yorkies he saw listed at the Laundromat....
(Ever since I got Roxy, my family has become a Yorkie family... they just adore her.)

So, we are trying to find preferrably, a little girl, I have TONS of girly clothes... and someone who isnt too big, simply just because Roxy is only 3lbs, and I dont want her to get hurt during play. Even our friends 7lb Yorkie was too much for her to handle... I didnt think it would be that much of a difference, but it definitely was.

So, I am hoping to find someone local, simply because I will not have a puppy shipped to me, either that or if they would meet me somewhere or travel to me, that would be great.

I cant pay an arm and a leg, but of course I am willing to pay. I want her to be happy, and that is my biggest thing, and I would hope anybody selling their puppy would care more about her (or him) being in a good place with someone that knows what theyre doing more than someone just willing to shell out huge bucks. I would rather save that money for vet bills and such... Roxy is always taken care of.

I actually do like puppies that are a bit older, so dont let me saying "puppy" full you, I call them all puppies... :) I got Roxy when she was 6 months, and I dont mind getting a puppy who is older, even a few years. As long as they are friendly, and Roxy loves them, thats all that matters to me... and that they are both safe.

Thanks for reading, I tend to go on and on... but its so important to me. She is my only child, and probably the closest thing I will ever have to one... I adore her.

14. Any additional information you want to add: I bought this little boy when he was a puppy to breed but he only has one testicle desended so far. It's possible that the other could still drop but it's an easy fix when he's being neutered and shouldn't cost much more. I can have it done before he leaves here for the cost that the vet charges me. He's a very sweet boy and loves to play. He likes to sit on your lap and snuggle and also loves to run and play outside. He's mostly potty trained but he does mark and neutering should fix this. I paid a lot more than this for him but I just want to see him go to a good home and be loved he's got so much personality. I'm going to try to get better pictures of him but it's hard to get him to stop going long enough to get a good one.

His hair is coming in dark, when he changed over from his puppy coat to his adult the hair was really light but then started growing in darker. I need to trim the light ends off his coat but but I'm afraid I'll mess it up and I don't know of a groomer I trust around here.
