A few months ago I posted I'd seen this in an ad when I went to check on it they were sold out, it has been months but I saw they have them in stock again today so here's the info for those interested. The store I found them in is called "Fleet Farm" it is a kind of farm/garden/pet food/hardware type store. That's the best I can describe it, they have a little of everything.

Yesterday I took myself out for a nice lunch. I let myself have a treat, a coke with my meal. The manager of the place asked me if I knew that the federal government was about to impose a "sin" tax on cola, much like the one on cigarettes and alcohol..... I was appalled. I did a little digging and it is bigger than they, they also plan to hit juice drinks and my beloved CHOCOLATE MILK..

I just thought I would start a thread and get it out!!! LOL!!! I have been through a lot this year and wanted to remind myself there is so much to be grateful for!!! so I will start............

I am so grateful for my family and friends this yesr!!! Without them I would have lost my mind a long time ago!! LOL!!! I am grateful for my health and for my wonderful yorkies Tayah, Harley, Jazzy, and soon to come Georgia!!! What joy my furbutts bring to me!!!

I could go on and on.....................Let's hear what you are grateful for!!

Great Apple Dumpling Recipe!!

This is a really easy....... and Xtra YUMMY recipe!! Thought I would share it with all of you!

MT. DEW APPLE DUMPLINGS

2 packages crescent rolls

2 large apples, peeled and cut into 8 wedges (16 wedges total)

Roll apples in crescent rolls and put in 9x11 or 9x13 pan (Spray or butter pan)

In saucepan put:

1 ½ cups sugar

2 sticks butter

1 tsp. cinnamon

Heat to dissolve sugar -- DO NOT BOIL - (I melt the butter first before adding sugar and cinnamon)

Pour over dumplings in pan.

Then take 12 oz. Mt. Dew and pour it between rows of rolls (Do not pour over them)

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 min.

I went in to see my gyno for my follow up apointment after dr Kruger lazered out my endo it has been two months and I still don't have feeling in my right thigh I was so happy to finally see him usually he says no kids but everyone I know is gone to bc for my gramas and cousin funeral so I had to take her I figured since I'm in a bind and because it's a follow up that I could bring cassis who would have thought a docter would turn someone away

Darn it! I became a vegetarian right before Thanksgiving!

Does anyone have any suggestions for a main course that I can prepare? I will still be making turkey for everyone else. I hope I can resist it.

I became a vegetarian a few months ago due to my love of animals.

At 9 on Friday I lost my Oma(grandma) and my 10 year old cousin to a fatal car accident I am not posting this for sympathy I just want everyone to remember to tell the ones you love often just how you feel as you might not get another chance :(

There is a white pigeon or dove or something under a car in front of my building. It is all fluffed up and looks hurt. It's beautiful..at least from where i was standing. If it's hurt i don't want to leave it there..what should i do? If anything i would take it to a wild life reservation but that would be tommorow.

I think the photo is all the clue you need. We were gone for almost 2 weeks and had a wonderful time. We even did a cruise on the Nile! This is me and my husband Gerry.

Boy did I miss my furbabies! I cried when I saw them waiting for me at home. We had a great pet/housesitter, so they got to stay at home and have their normal routine.

please pray for my son

my son was having a heavy chest today, shortness of breath, he's 35, but given the family history (my other son died at 16 cause unknown/undetermined) they ran a bunch of tests and admitted him into the cardiology unit. My daughter in law just called that the procedure they run the dye through, was done and all clear. Thank God...So now were just waiting to see if it was an asthma issue or what?? Either way that was the longest trip to the hospital in america..........I was soooo scared...Please help me and say prayers that he is ok. I really believe that prayer works and I could use all we can get. Thanks in advance. Linda
