| Our English summer What an absolute nightmare this one is turning into. At least we're lucky up here & have not got the floods, feel so sorry for all those thousands of people having to cope with waist high water in their homes, no power & now no clean drinking water apart from whatever bottled water they are allowed, & they say it could be weeks before it can be on again. I read today that Severn water has refused to supply bottled water to kennels. Here on the moors we just have the torrential rain to cope with. I can't recall one dry day in the last six weeks, it's pouring down again today. We have three large reservoirs on the edge of our village that are full to the brim. |

LUV my 3 Furrs & Alex Donating Member | I live in Worcester UK and the floods were bad, but luckly not near my house. On thursday I came back from holliday. Altho on friday we closed the office earlier at 3 pm and did not manadged to get home untill 9 am the next morning with the car filled with watter. Imagine me pregnant, trying to keep my cool...I felt so bad for screaming at my partener so much but I just couldn't help it. We haven't had watter for about 3 days but everything is not as bad as we were not flooded. I own with my hubby an estate agency and we have had so many people in looking for a place to stay as they have been flooded. I have felt so bad and so sorry for them. I just hope the rain will stop and give the rivers time to go down again.

| I live in Oxfordshire and have friends from work who's homes were flooded I count myself VERY lucky not to have been personally affected and i feel so so sorry for those that are it must be devastating to see your home and all your posessions ruined by filthy contaminated water. My husband is in the RAF and is being deployed early tomorrow morning to help with flood defences and post flood recovery, he has been itching to get out there and help out since this all began last friday.

| And still it rains it's pouring down again this morning. Even my geese are reluctant to come out of their house now, their field is just mud. The ground up here on the hills is completely waterlogged, it squelches everywhere you walk, so there will be lots to run off into the rivers yet. Did you see on the news, earlier in the week, the little Yorkie that had been air lifted with the old lady it belongs too? |

LUV my 3 Furrs & Alex Donating Member | Yeah, I heard about it and have seen it on the news. The old lady was holding the yorkie so tight to her chest, almost like beeing afraid to let him go. It was sweet. Here is pooring down again also.
